Hit & Stay Premiere at Chicago Underground Film Festival

Hit & Stay, Joe Tropea's great new documentary, will premiere at the Chicago Underground Film Festival on Sat. March 9 at 2pm at the Logan Theatre (2646 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, Illinois 60647). Joe's film chronicles many antidraft actions in the late 1960's and early 1970's, including those of the Baltimore Four and the Catonsville Nine. Tickets are available here.

Catonsville Nine reviewed in WIN Magazine

The Catonsville Nine has been reviewed by the very perceptive Rosalie Riegle in WIN Magazine, published by the War Resisters League. She writes that I have "given us an intriguing story, replete with lessons for resisters of today." The full review is available here.

Catonsville Nine reviewed by History News Network and Counterpunch

My book The Catonsville Nine: A Story of Faith and Resistance in the Vietnam Era recently garnered favorable reviews from History News Network and Counterpunch. The HNN review (available here) said that the book is "an original, balanced study" that is "objective, well-written and highly interesting from a number of angles." The Counterpunch reviewer (article available here) claimed that the book is "a must read for people of any faith."
